To enjoy the latest software you should do software upgrades regularly. We will send an email if there are important changes, such as new tax tables or an increased UIF ceiling or something in that line, but software is constantly being worked on and improved, so an update every two months will keep you close to the newest version.

 

OPTION 1: From the main screen of Africlock

 

1. Select 'Software updates' in the bottom left corner.

2. Select the top option: 'Update Africlock to the latest version'.

3. The computer will run through the procedure.

4. Select 'Yes' to allow the program to make changes to the computer.

5. The steps are otherwise the same as with a new installation.

 

OPTION 2: From the DESKTOP (if you are already on the latest version, the system will display the following message:)

1.  Double click on the icon.

2. The computer will run through the procedure.

3. Select 'Yes' to allow the program to make changes to the computer.

4. The steps are otherwise the same as with a new installation.

 

OPTION 3:

 

1. See the steps when installing a new program.

2. Choose the 'MINIMAL install' option instead of the 'FULL install'.

3. Follow the rest of the steps.

 

Make sure the program is on the latest version by checking the date on the main screen.

 

Other functions with regards to the software upgrade option:

Select this option to install the latest software.

Open TeamViewer from this button. If TeamViewer has not been installed yet, it will run through the installation.
