To transfer your Africlock to a new computer, the steps as discussed below, must be followed:

 

NEW COMPUTER

1.  The latest version of the Africlock software should be downloaded to your new computer from our website at:  www.clock.co.za

2.  The steps are discussed here.

 

RESTORE DATA

First, a backup should be created on the old computer and stored on a USB flash disk, after that:

1. Put the USB flash disk in the new computer.

2. Use the icon on the desktop that reads: Africlock Data Backup (Icon with yellow lightning sign).

3. Four options open at the top of the screen. Select the option on the far right hand side: 'Restore'.

4. A following screen opens: Select folder to use.

5. Click on the + sign of the drive with the USB in (e.g. E, F, G etc) so that the sub folders are visible.

6.  Click on the newest data file so that it is highlighted and then 'OK'.

7.  Ignore the ' Stop/Stop' warning on the new computer to continue with the process.

8.  The data will now be restored.
